What can I expect at the Trans Community Dinners?

A free meal, and a chance to meet other trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people, in a peaceful setting that encourages conversation and community. Dinners are held on Thursday evenings, generally once a month as scheduling permits.

6:00 – 6:30 pm

Arrive at our venue and meet your fellow guests, our hosts, and our team of volunteers.

6:30 – 6:45 pm

Serve yourself from our buffet-style dinner. Volunteers provide a main dish (including a vegan option), side dish or salad, dessert, and water. Guests are welcome to bring other dishes to share or nonalcoholic beverages, but this is strictly optional.

6:45 – 7:30 pm

Enjoy your meal and fellowship with the other guests in the Covenant Room, a quiet, private space with excellent acoustics to encourage conversation. Volunteers dine in a separate space after the guests have all been served.

7:30 – 8:00 pm

Volunteers perform cleanup, and guests are welcomed to package up leftovers to take home. You may also be invited to join other activities during this time, such as crafting, cookie decorations, or breakout groups for more intimate conversations.
