It’s Back to School Season! This can be a hard time of year for young people, and especially for LGBTQIA+ youth. For this month’s dinner, we’re asking guests for donations for Briarpatch Youth Services, our excellent local charity that provides services to homeless and housing-vulnerable young people in Dane County. (Did you know that 40% of homeless youth identify as LGTBQIA+, compared to 9.5% of the overall youth population?) You can bring cash or checks to the dinner, make a secure donation through the Briarpatch website, or bring goods and items from their critical needs list. Any donated items will be delivered to Briarpatch the following week. Thanks for helping our most vulnerable youth during a difficult time.

Main Dish: Pasta with meat sauce, chicken enchiladas, white bean and kale soup

Side Dishes: Salads, bread

Dessert: Cookies, cookie bars
